Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress popular in Bollywood and Hollywood.
In 2002, she first appeared in the Tamil song 'Thamizhan' and in 2003
made her Bollywood debut with the movie 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy'
as a supporting actress. She performed her first lead role in the movie
Andaaz(2003). Recently Priyanka got honoured for her achievements in
Hindi cinema. The actress got bestowed with Padma Shri title from the
President, Pranab Mukherjee, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Priyanka Chopra,
along with mother Dr Madhu Chopra, started Purple Pebble Productions,
under which she has planned to produce five regional films. She has
produced a Marathi film, Ventilator and also sang a song, 'Baba'.
Biography
Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to
Late Dr. Ashok Chopra and Madhu Akhaurishe. Since both her parents were
doctors in an Indian Army, she completed her education from lot of
places but still Bareilly remains real home to her. Places she has been
to study : La Martiniere Girls School in Lucknow, Newton North High
School in Newton, Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar
Rapids, Lowa, Army School in Bareilly and Jai Hind College in Mumbai.
Before starting her acting career, she has also worked as a model which
helped her win 'Miss World' title in 2000.
